It has been a long time since I went to a product launch. So I was very excited (and expected) about this one.
Chanel chose the 1st of September this year as the official release of this scent worldwide, after 15 years since the release of its previous scent. The performance was perfectly executed: chic, warm, elegant and full of Gabrielle’s scent.
It was a total immersion in the Universe of Chanel. Every step in this personal tour took you into another level of knowledge that was deep and beautiful, about the story and creation of Gabrielle.
Before she was been Coco, she was Gabrielle: young, rebellious, strong, determined, and a dreamer. This is the essence of the new parfum de la Maison Française.
Four white flowers are the centre and masterpiece of the fragrance created by Olivier Polge. “I wanted to focus on what I felt was most important, this imaginary white flower, which essentially a bouquet composed of 4 flowers:”
Orange blossom
Ylang-ylang
Jasmine
Grasse Tuberose
Altogether, creating a new, unique, and imaginary flower, the scent of Gabrielle.
Chanel had invested many years in creating this special smell and in developing the ultra-thin and light crystal bottle. An ode to the elegance. Less is more. And sometimes chieving the purity, the essence, and origin of things can be
a summation of years of inspiration. And here it is!
The event was a marvelous trip created by Chanel, almost a dream, where one could spend hours and hours.
But the very first launch was in Paris in the Palais de Tokyo, last July, with Kristen Stewart, the muse of the campaign, and Pharrell Williams, among other celebrities and close friends de la Maison.
Here you can have a glimpse of how it was!
See you around!
